Employee Benefit at a Large IT Company
The organization believed in a personalized approach to mental wellbeing and support. They had mindfulness apps and programs, as well as EAP. However, most people needed something else - a private, safe space where they could work through their own thoughts and feelings. This led them to start sleeping better and get back their mojo. Wysa offered this anonymously, and at scale.
Wysa as a Public Health Service
A government agency has access to various useful and helpful resources that can help their citizens, but they are hard to access, and rarely can be located seamlessly. This is where Wysa came in - a safe space to talk, and navigate to the right resource.
Preventing Healthcare Worker Burnout
Frontline healthcare workers had to face the brunt of the stress caused by the pandemic. There was no relief, no respite for them. Others could take time off, but frontline workers had to be at it everyday for months at a stretch. The organization rolled out Wysa to be easily accessible, available 24/7 and provide an emotionally safe outlet for these warriors to get at least one moment of peace amidst the madness.
Support for Adolescents Waitlisted for Therapy
If you reach out to ask for mental health support from a government agency, chances are you will be asked to wait for weeks, sometimes even months to get help. For someone who is at risk, this can worsen symptoms and lead to illness. In this case, a government agency gave Wysa to everyone waiting for human support, as the first step of care. During this time, Wysa was able to support the management of stress levels for users.
AI + Wellbeing Coach as Payor Benefit
Wysa's wellbeing coach service was offered as a payor benefit by an insurance company to their members. Members could come in and seek support for more severe problems, learn ways and techniques to focus on the controllables, de-personalize their stressors and leave with a sense of control over their lives. By delivering this as a benefit, the company reduced friction and made it easier for members to seek support.
