What is Wysa ?
Wysa is an award winner HealthNet provider who partnered with MedNet to bring you the MedNet Mental Wellness Product - " A tool to manage your wellness in full confidentiality."
Why do I need to create a Nickname ?
By choosing a nickname, you are creating an avatar that protects your identity and has no personal identifiers associated with it. Any personal information discussed in the sessions with your coach will remain safeguarded between the confinements of your session.
Will MedNet share my details with Wysa ?
MedNet will only share with Wysa your policy eligibility so you can access the version of Wysa that corresponds to your policy. Details shared are general, for example, Policy expiration date. Any personal member identifiers have either been removed or masked as part of our Information and Privacy Security Policy and will not be shared with Wysa.
Will my employer know that I have used Wysa ?
No, Wysa is completely confidential, and no information regarding its usage is ever shared with your employer.
How do I get access to Wysa Premium ?
If you're enjoying Wysa Lite, you can request your insurer to include the premium version in your policy. Else you can upgrade at any point to a Wysa premium account by clicking on the "Upgrade Plan " button. You will be redirected to the App/Google store to download the Wysa app and prompted to purchase a plan according to your needs. Please note that at this point, you have left HealthPass by MedNet and are entering a direct contract with Wysa for a premium subscription. You'll be able to continue using Wysa Lite for the remaining duration of your policy in HealthPass.
How long can I use Wysa Premium for?
For the duration of your policy where Wysa is included as a benefit, for example, if Wysa has been added as a policy benefit to your policy mid-way through, say month 7, then you will have access to Wysa premium for the remaining 6-months on your policy.
How many free coach sessions do I have?
As part of the Wysa Premium benefit, you are entitled to 5 coaching sessions free of cost.
What happens if I "Top Up" my Coaching sessions limit ( Wysa Premium ) during my policy term ?
When you "Top Up" your coaching sessions as part of your access to Wysa premium during the policy term, you will be able to come back to HealthPass and continue enjoying all Wysa premium services and your newly added sessions. You will need to utilize all sessions before your policy expiry date. To help you with that, we have set up a general notification from MedNet HealthPass to remind you of your policy expiration date within 30 days.
Why don’t I have access to Wysa premium after my policy was updated?
Wysa Premium is an additional service added to a policy when purchased. Policies are often renewed with different benefits year on year and may not be added as a benefit during the renewal. Please refer to the information in your policy regarding your benefits. You still have access to Wysa Lite and may purchase Wysa Premium as above or ask your insurer for an upgrade to Premium.
Will you retain my details when I pay for additional sessions?
No, to maintain our promise of anonymity, you will be redirected to a payment gateway independent of MedNet and Wysa. At no stage does MedNet or Wysa collect or retain any information related to or regarding you and this benefit.
I scheduled a session and did not join, what happens now ?
Unfortunately you will loose this session as indicated within the information regarding getting prepared/ ready for your session. We always advise you reschedule and prepare ahead to ensure all sessions can be fully used.
Can I reschedule/ cancel my session ?
Yes, you can reschedule/cancel your session. The booking management function will be available to you after booking a session and up to one hour before the session begins.
I had two sessions in my Wysa Premium access before my policy expired, what happened to them?
Wysa Premium coaching sessions are only valid during the duration of your policy and hence must be fully used before your policy expires. MedNet will give a 30 days notice to say your policy is expiring; therefore, please ensure you use all of your 5 sessions.
I had Wysa Lite and I bought sessions which are not reflecting in my HealthPass, what do I do?
Please note that the session is bought directly from Wysa will not reflect in your MedNet HealthPass as this is not considered a benefit of your policy. Your Wysa Lite access will continue as before within your HealthPass.
Why do I need to download Wysa if I buy coaching sessions ?
Wysa Premium is an additional benefit that may or may not be in your policy; please refer to your policy for details. If it is not, and you wish to purchase Wysa Premium, you will need to do so via the Wysa App directly. When you access the Wysa App via HealthPass, you will enjoy a 10% discount.
